The annual Australia Day fireworks (Skyworks) are now part of the City of Light Show series.

In 2023 the main fireworks display will be accompanied by a drone show. It starts right after 8 pm and runs for 30 minutes.

Unlike previous years, the display will not be central over the Swan River. Instead, it will be held closer to the Perth foreshore and is best viewed from there.
