2025 Alpine GT X-Over Price, Specs, Release Date, Interior & Exterior

2025 Alpine GT X-Over Price, Specs, Release Date, Interior & Exterior! Alpine’s first-ever all-electric SUV, the GT X-Over, was tested recently in snowy circumstances. Recent spy photos show a mule of the SUV covered in a highly modified Dacia Duster body, but it is very difficult to identify the major design elements even if we look closely. Inspired by the Alpine A110, the upcoming GT X-Over is expected to be a dynamically focused and aero-optimized sporting crossover. Existing Alpine models are already volume-focused and practically propositioned, and so the GT X-Over needs to be focused on substantially increasing global sales. Renault claims that the upcoming GT X-Over is going to pave a new era for all-electric sports crossovers with its light body and terrific driving experience.

2025 Alpine GT X-Over: Release Date and Price

The GT X-Over will take some time to become a reality, and as with the A110 mid-engine sports car, it will also be produced at Alpine’s plant in Dieppe, France. Production will start by 2025 and be supplied to the dealership sometime later that year. The company may change its plans regarding the release date between now and then, as there is not yet an official declaration. We’ll keep an eye out for more details about the vehicle, which is undergoing development now. Though it is too early to predict the SUV’s price, it is expected to kick off around £60,000.

2025 Alpine GT X-Over’s Trimotor Configuration:

Gilles le Borgne, an engineer from Alpine, has stated that the 2025 Alpine GT X-Over is going to have a triple-motor configuration for more nimble handling. According to him, the vehicle is going to offer a 215 bhp e-motor for the front of the CMF-EV chassis, while its back is going to be a huge stunner. We expect that the GT X-Over will amuse us with great performance with its 87-kilowatt-hour battery and 389-hp dual-motor all-wheel-drive system. We suspect the GT X-Over will offer better speed than the A110, which can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in just 4.5 seconds and hit the top speed of 155 mph. It’s too early to predict the fuel efficiency of the vehicle, but we can expect it to be economical.

Design:

The electric crossover, the GT X-Over, has a long way to go before it is launched, and so we know very little about the details of the vehicle, which is only at the test mule stage. Recently, it has been seen to be tasted with a makeshift body, modified from a Dacia Duster crossover. Hopefully, we will be able to spot the first GT X-Over prototypes sometime next year. Since we only have a glance at a heavily modified Dacia Duster, it is difficult to get an idea of the actual look of the Alpine GT X-Over. In fact, the authoritative company has provided very few details on the electric crossover at the moment. All we know for now is that the compact crossover will be based on the CMF-EV platform.

2025 Alpine GT X-Over: Dimensions and Weight

According to the information we have, the 2025 Alpine GT X-Over is quite similar to the model A110 sports car, which has dimensions of 5.0 inches of ground clearance, a 95.2-inch wheelbase, 164.5 inches of length, 70.8 inches of width, and 49.3 inches of height, with a 2,456-lb curb weight. The 2025 Alpine GT X-Over is expected to come with slightly improved dimensions and a longer wheelbase.

Safety Features Offered by the 2025 Alpine GT X-Over

As we all know, the 2025 Alpine GT X-Over is going to be the better version of the A110, so we expect that the vehicle may come with a better safety configuration than the A110’s. The A110 comes with alloy wheels, an audio remote, central locking, a height-adjustable driver’s seat, parking sensors, a passenger airbag, a service indicator, and traction control. It’s a matter of concern that a modern sports car like this does not have emergency braking and lane-keeping assistance. Hopefully, the GT X-Over will overcome all the shortcomings in terms of safety and come with a Euro NCAP safety rating, which the A110 doesn’t have.

Warranty and Maintenance Coverage

Alpine generally offers limited warranty coverage of 3 years or 100,000 km, whichever comes first, for its original customer. This policy also provides free services, if required, for 1 year based on 12,000 miles per year. Alpine only offers these facilities to the original purchaser and never acknowledges a warranty claim if the car is handed over to someone else. Yet the company has kept an option to extend the limited warranty policy if the original buyer wants that.
